Last week we announced an agreement to acquire Nectar Imports wholesale business and direct distribution operations from Asahi UK, bringing new customers, suppliers and operational capabilities into the MCB network.

The agreement, announced on Friday 11th September 2026, includes the acquisition of the Nectar Imports wholesale business, together with customer and supplier contracts, and the lease of the depot in Hindon, Wiltshire. The transaction also covers vehicles, stock, operating assets, technology and systems associated with the business and its operations.

MCB, Asahi UK and Nectar will work together to support an orderly transition for customers, suppliers, and employees. Asahi UK’s leading portfolio will continue to be available through MCB, with both organisations committed to maintaining continuity of supply and service throughout the transition.
